Somehow it wouldn’t seem right to end our adventure without a final homage to the food of France. Last night, we went to a restaurant called La Cloche – it specialises only in dishes devoted to cheese (displayed under the enormous cloche in the picture). Needless to say, we barely made it home alive! We have had a hire car for the last two days and have enjoyed exploring the wine trail, tramping through castles and chateaux and wandering through quaint and colourful villages. Tomorrow we head for Zurich and Friday for home. We arrive very late on Saturday and I expect Sunday will be spent sleeping. So, jusqu’à l’année prochaine – until next year!
