You have to be up early to get a picture of the Notre Dame with no crowd in the foreground, or the river Seine looking like a mirror. Yesterday we were – 6 o’clock in the morning here still feels like 4 o’clock in the afternoon back home, so until we adjust, we will take advantage of the “time warp” (in fact, we were awake at 2 and had to wait until the sun started to come up!). Lunch at La Closerie Des Lilas – a favourite of Rod Stewart who left his autograph and wrote “I love Paris ANYTIME”. Couldn’t agree more
