We came to Beaune in 2023, and we had such a good time that we decided to stop here again for a couple of nights on our way to Strasbourg, staying at the same hotel – L’Hotel de Beaune. Beaune is right in the middle of the Burgundy wine region and L’Hotel de Beaune is right in the middle of the old town. Couldn’t be better! Last night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The picture is our dessert (crepes suzette) being flambeed by the waiter (I’m sure his eyebrows will grow back). I’ve added some photographs of the hotel, the bar and the cathedral to the gallery. Wine tasting today and on to Strasbourg tomorrow.
